Le Bourget, France – (December 12, 2025) — As Falcon 6X aircraft enter the field (more than 20 now) and as operators gain experience with the model (more than 6,000 flight hours) service has also increased, with DFS leading the way in accumulating and sharing its experience with the most advanced Falcon model.
DFS performed its first 12-month inspection in December 2024 when the fleet leader, the 6X demonstration aircraft at that time, had 1,200 hours and 650 cycles in the preceding year. Since then, DFS has serviced 16 of the 6X aircraft, including three 12-month inspections and one 800-hour inspection.
“The 6X fleet is flying a lot, especially as the first aircraft to enter service is barely two years old. We are getting an early look at service reliability, which has been very good given that it is an entirely new airplane,” said Cyril Mac Garry, director of the Falcon service network. Mac Gary noted that 6X interval inspections had gone smoothly, in part due to the extensive diagnostic information provided by the aircraft’s FalconScan system.
The pace of 6X service activity will only increase as the fleet grows and DFS, as well as more than 20 other factory service centers, are fully trained and ready for them. Already, the first 24-month inspection is planned at DFS for January and a second in February.
